Jambavan

Controlling, supressing and conquering the mental demons is 99% of doing a task. Having someone to constantly tell one that one can still accomplish stuff is not such a bad idea.

At the right time.

Is it about the movie Jambavan? Or are you mentioning about how Jambavam made Hanuman realize his strengths by constantly telling him that he is capable?

Just loud thinking......

@Hawkeye,

Jambavan is a famous TRajendar movie. He played the title role. It is after this movie that everyone started calling him KaraTeeRajendar.

Jambavan is a film starring Lipton Top Star Prashant and not Vijaya TR

yes! this was what I wanted to say. Apparently Prashanth and T.R have created nuisance that I wasn't aware of.

rastafari & Deepak,

are you sure its not a prashanth T.R co-starrer named "Karadi kedutha malliga poo"

Oho. Got it!
Also when you have time please cast some light on the phrase:

"Avar orru periya Jambavan.."

I am sure you have heard it sometime or the other.

oh yes, some folks need such reminders. Like our to-do lists on calendars and the reminders it sends us. Especially when we have to fill our timesheets. :)

@jillu,

Jambavan was an information godown. He was Rama's advisor/ philosopher/guide during the war against Ravana. He had the face of a bear and body of a human and is believed to have lived for several years. So we call someone 'periya Jambavan nenappu' if he thinks he knows too much.
