Ha hA! Pretty much the whole of Madras has been hijacked into Earth Hour at various points of time! Tortoise (later Mortein) Kosuvathi surul, nightly visit to the EB office to be told of a blown fuse, doing 'homework' with the emergency lamp on, forced candlenight dinners with people with whom I won't prefer having a candlenight dinner... whoa!!! Good to have left all that behind!

Ramanavami celebrations are underway in Ayodhya mandapam. Pretty good line up of events(as it has been always).
Participating in the celebrations during earth hours used to be a bliss in itself - musicians stepping up their pitch to be audible, its missing these days with the power backups.
