I am the essence of overconfidence! I am speculation, adventure; the spirit of pursuit; the stag howling for its winsome yet anonymous mate. I am the love call of evolution; the perfume and color of the flowers as they offer their pollen to the gentle buzz of the bees.
I am sex itself, gentlemen. I am life. I am appetite!
Anu, yeah totally ... waiting for Thamizh version - but I just hope vikram doesnt do a Sami style for the same .. and i wonder what would it be in Tamizh ?
Why do you think mani/kamal/madhavan always prefer bilingual movies ? Since roja, mani started making movies catering to the northies.Despite kamal's posturing with regards to thamizh pride blah blah ,no one sucks up to the northies like him.His craving for their approval is so annoying.ditto for 'bihari' payyan madhavan.bilingual film making by tamils is a reflection of an insatiable craving of northie approval..talk about pride..sigh...
I dont think money is the issue. They can make money by giving the rights of the movie to producers for a remake.Mani has taken himslef too seriously making movies befitting a 'national' director.I dont think ayutha ezhuthu, mumbai express,alavandhan,13 b justifies a business reason.Apart from ram gopal varma no director/actor from any non tamil southern film industry does bilingual films.
I am not really sure about rahman.Of course what he has done may be unintentional but the end result is msvesque.During the 70's msv made RD burman famous in TN by dishing out trash after trash.IR reversed the trend and now arr is making hindi popular in a differnet way
This Vikram nayee has given this interview in the Delhi edition of TOI. http://tinyurl.com/y6g46ge

Most Tamil films are rustic, rural, rugged and violent. Many of them are set in Madurai, which is known to be an aggressive city. "

Sri
AB reminds me of Ajay Devgan in Omkara (Check youtube).
Apparently this is a bio epic of Khobad Ghandy.
Tamil teaser will be out on 26th.
btw here is the track list
Anon, I don't think it has anything to do with vadakathi approval. Money maybe. Mani/Kamal/Madhavan sari, what about AR Rehman?
It might look like Guna in some scenes
Raavan is not doubt will be too good but the question is:
Why Abhishek is good only with good directors specially with Mani ji?
