I am the essence of overconfidence! I am speculation, adventure; the spirit of pursuit; the stag howling for its winsome yet anonymous mate. I am the love call of evolution; the perfume and color of the flowers as they offer their pollen to the gentle buzz of the bees.
I am sex itself, gentlemen. I am life. I am appetite!
Songs sounded a bit average ... my earlier comment that Rahman songs had a wow - was not there in this initially. But Its now from 0 to 4 that i have started liking.
Songs are not a let down. It will clearly grow on us soon. Much better than VTV imo. I liked all songs on 1st hearing itself. The trailers only raises the expectations, but that 'Speed: 1 Tera Hz, Memory: 1 Zetta byte' dialogue is too local :P
As a Sherlock Holmes fan, you should check out the latest Brit series called Sherlock. It's a modern day adaptation and pretty awesome, especially the casting. It's by Steven Moffat(since you are also a Coupling fan). Three episodes this season. Two out.
I've been following your blog for quite a while now...I think Bolly/Kollywood can make technologically good movies, but can never make movies like "inception" which is based on a concept....as far as Endiran songs go, they are mediocre, may grow on me...but VTV was better....the song "Kilimanjaro" is just "Kattipudi kattipudi da" at a slower pace...I cant believe ARR would stoop so low to actually flick from Deva.
yen tension...i didnt mean any offense to tamil movies....i just told what I felt....avvlo dhaan..."reinvent the wheel" means to duplicate something....so yes, it indeed is difficult to make a good movie by reinventing the wheel....so you seem to be contradricting yourself..... Also, rajni tells this will be a pathbreaking movie in indian film industry, but also tells "ellame foreign technicians".... finally, yen indha kuzhandai's name, inception, spin stories blah blah blah...

otha...indha mokka thirimbi aaramichaacha..only in india do you give so much importance for a stupid 3 hour non-sense fare.
Trailer evokes some interest.. songs are a let down.. too much techno.. may be they will grow on you..

Oh that was 1 Zetta Byte... i just couldnt make it from that .. This is like that
"Rich gets riitcher poover gets pooverer" dialogue.
Songs are too techno and takes time to tune in. If you liked those Bollywood Club remix songs, then Endhiran techno feels like God of all !
These songs will get remixed again to be played in the discos.

And Hollywood can never make a movie like Aan Paavam. What does that prove?
To make a good movie, you don't have to re-invent the wheel or have a "concept" (Obviously Inception is the only movie with a concept)
Why don't you name your kuzhandhai Inception and then you can spin stories how he/she got his/her name.
Aiyya/amma "I"
