I have negatives of photographs taken in late 1970s. I went around some photo developing places in chennai and asked them if they could develop those negatives for me. Unfortunately they said that the machines used to develop those negativeshas been discarded by many photo studios in the city.
Request: If any one is aware of photo studios in and around Chennai who may be able to develop such negatives taken in 1970s - can you please leave a comment or send mail to hawkeyeview@gmail.com. Thanks

Try this.
friend of mine bought a negative scanner.. you feed in the negative strips and it converts it to JPG. but that thing as 400 $ six years ago.
you can always check that option out if you have way too many negatives.
b, scancafe.com does a very good job. they actually send it to bangalore and get it done.
You may want to clarify your need here: do you want to develop or print? Because develop is what you do if the film roll has never been exposed. I presume it's already developed and you just want them printed.
thanks all for the response. I do not have 35 mm negatives. These negatives are slightly bigger than that. Ill try the photo studio suggested. Once again thank you very much for the suggestion
