When does a movie becomes a Kamalagasan movie?

A country can be called England only when any young boy can dream of growing up and becoming the queen of England [1].

A movie is a Kamal Hassan movie when any ambitious and self-respecting Srinivasa Iyengar, Ramunja Iyengar, Agnihothram Thathacharya, Vemuri Ranga Raghava Iyengar can dream of growing up and becoming an islamic terrorist. That too a terrorist in a jihadi organization that firmly believes in secularism, communism and freedom for women.

If you've not seen the movie already, I am awed by your astuteness. Otherwise, yawn. What did you expect?

Knowledgeable people say it is a copy of True Lies. Adhu illaya?
If unionized, daily bata cinema kaarans grow and get some audience, they get all intellectual and propagate all the wrong -isms. People should have thrown brickbats and acid muttai when he started Pethal 101. Anbe Sivam or even earlier. Now it has become a cancer with Dasavathaaram and Vishwaroopam, and only going to get worse. (Aside, note the Vainava slant in the titles) That is not to compliment the talentless Rajinikanth in any way but Kamalagasan has reached 'sabba kanna kattudhu' levels long ago.

I haven't seen vishwarropam. but if it isn't a story about bramins-type mama by the day and amrikkan accent putting secret operative by the night - I will be very surprised. if it doesn't belittle bremins and essentially conclude that paarpanans are as much to blame for the whole situation as the pagisdhan based groups - i'll be very surprised.

enne haakai saar neenga. Getting a little judgemental before the release, aren't we?
If anyone wants to mime for subtext in a tamil movie (that supposedly has a higher budget than usual), that is their choice, however deluded they might be.
I have my expectations pretty low ever since he resorted to remakes like that MBBS movie or that awful Dasavatharam and that horrible Manmadhan Ambu.
If this movie doesn't suck like that, then I'll be happy.
